Bikes on trains
How to get your bike on a train. Hint: it's easy with a folding bike, a hat full of trouble for almost anything else (although some train operating companies are better than others). Click through for bike carrying policies of the TOCs (train operating companies) here. Or download a PDF of the same info on a Brompton-sponsored leaflet.

Bikes and trains
Sadly, sometimes bicycles are not carried on trains. This page has a whole bunch of info on how to get around these restrictions. As well as info about the national rail operators, the ATOB page has details on cycle carriage on steam and narrow-gauge railways.
